About me
On the 15th of July 1991, something I never knew would bring such a tremendous transformation in my life took place. it was at gospel crusade in lugogo Kampala a place where the current Game/shoprite supermaket sits. The preacher was evangelist T.L Osborn. That particular night when the invitation to receive Jesus as Lord and saviour was given, i went forward to give my life to Jesus. truthfully speaking i did not know what i was doing then, when i went home that night and told people that I had gotten' saved' they all laughed me to scorn. They even gave me a challenge and said if I lasted a week in this salvation business, then they would know that I was serious. In wanting to prove them that I could actually be saved, i decided to give it a serious try. it was in that one week that Jesus took a hold on me and I have never been the same ever!
When I became a Christian, I knew that I had to preach the gospel, heal the sick, perform miracles, because that is what i saw happening at the crusade in which i gave my life to Jesus. I therefore started asking people to bring the sick to me for prayer. when they started responding, it then occurred to me that i had not crammed the miracle prayer. However in the books given to us, I remembered that they started with a prayer. So i would lay hands on the sick person, open one of the books of T.L Osborn and i would read out the prayer that went something like this... ' lord i pray for the person who will be reading this book, that you will bless them ....' but because I had faith that miracles were to happen, many things did actually happen.
I remember when I first became a Christian how i fell out my father, i do not recall any that were born again then. But as I speak today, 90% of all my family members and relatives are born again.
I am now working as a resident pastor at Christian city church a growing church in Kabalagala a suburb in Kampala Uganda. We started the church with about seven people, just twelve years along the journey, the Lord has blessed us with a lively congregation of close to 1.000 people, and that is just the beginning! I am happily married to Doreen and we are blessed with two anointed sons( Sean Mwesiigwa and Shalom Musinguzi)
