Statement of faith

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

• We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

• We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

• We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

•We believe in a life of holiness, without which no man can see the Lord, through sanctification as a definite, yet progressive, work of grace.

•We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, received subsequent to the new birth, with speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives the utterance, as the initial physical sign and evidence.

•We believe that divine healing is provided for in the atonement, and is available to all who truly believe.

•We believe and practice two ordinances water baptism by immersion after repenting of one's sins and receiving Christ's gift of salvation, and holy communion (the Lord's supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death for our salvation.

•We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

•We believe in the second coming of Christ. At this future moment in time all believers who have died will rise from their graves and will meet the Lord in the air, and Christians who are alive will be caught up with them, to be with the Lord forever.

•We believe in the millennial reign of Christ when Jesus returns with His saints at His second coming and begins His benevolent rule over earth for 1,000 years.

•We believe in final judgement for those who have rejected Christ. They will be judged for their sin and consigned to eternal punishment in a punishing lake of fire.

•We believe in and look forward to the perfect new heavens and a new earth that Christ is preparing for all people, of all time, who have accepted Him. We will live and dwell with Him there forever following His millennial reign on Earth. 'And so shall we forever be with the Lord!'
